Pros Salon Supply uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for secure transmissions. SSL applies encryption between two communicating applications, such as your PC and our corporate Internet server. When your data is transmitted over the Internet, it is encrypted or "scrambled" at the sending end and then decrypted or "unscrambled" at the receiving end. We use 128-bit encryption, the highest level generally available today.
How do I know that my connection is secure?
Whenever you access the site, a symbol at the bottom of your browser screen provides a status of whether the connection is secure or not. The symbol is as follows:

If the symbol is complete (unbroken) it means that you are in a secure site and that your session is also secure.
